Responsibilities
- Own the infrastructure deployment lifecycle from design and provisioning through configuration, release, and operations.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, including modules, environments, and state management.
- Automate configuration management and application or platform setup with Ansible, including secure secrets handling.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and deployment workflows.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems and Windows Server environments, including Windows clustering technologies.
- Operate, tune, and maintain high availability for Redis, RabbitMQ, and Nginx.
- Build monitoring and alerting with VictoriaMetrics and Prometheus, including exporters, rules, dashboards, and capacity tracking.
- Improve reliability through incident response, root-cause analysis, postmortems, and preventive actions.
- Standardize dev, test, and production environments and maintain documentation and runbooks.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on release planning, change management, and security requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience, or equivalent experience, in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong practical experience with Ansible and Terraform.
- Confident administration of Linux and Windows Server, including Windows clustering technologies.
- Monitoring experience with VictoriaMetrics and/or Prometheus.
- Production experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, and Nginx.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, TLS, load balancing, routing, and firewalls.
- Experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, and reusable automation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to participate in on-call and incident-response processes.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ELK/EFK, Loki, Grafana, HA/DR, backups, security practices, VOIP technologies, F5 load balancers, MS SQL Server, VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, or Azure.
