Responsibilities
- Act as a technical architect and hands-on contributor for complex enterprise-scale software systems.
- Define and promote architectural blueprints, patterns, and standards across product teams.
- Collaborate with product management, UX, DevOps, customer success, engineering, and executive leadership.
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to cross-functional engineering teams.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies.
- Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development.
- Lead architectural reviews, performance tuning, and code quality initiatives.
- Ensure solutions are cloud-native, secure, scalable, and aligned with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and backend service architecture.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native design patterns.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and deployment automation.
- Strong experience with REST/gRPC API design and system integration patterns.
- Understanding of relational and NoSQL data storage technologies and data modeling.
- Experience with messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka or equivalent.
- Familiarity with enterprise document management and content processing systems.
- Knowledge of observability practices including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
- Exposure to AI/ML applications such as OCR, document classification, and semantic search.
- Strong problem-solving, system design, and technical decision-making skills.
- Ability to influence architecture and engineering direction across teams.
- Preferred experience with Infor CloudSuite, ION, or Mongoose Framework.
- Preferred experience designing data-intensive applications using modern data architectures.
- Open-source projects or published technical articles or conference talks are preferred.
