Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based applications.
- Contribute to frontend and backend feature development.
- Participate in requirements discussions, solution design, technical documentation, and different stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code and create unit tests.
- Monitor applications, troubleshoot problems, and resolve issues.
- Provide technical support to internal users when required.
- Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to solve technical challenges and deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python development and software engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience developing and supporting web applications.
- An IT-related university degree or equivalent education, or current study in a relevant field.
- Understanding of core software development principles and basic knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and learning skills.
- Django knowledge or hands-on experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Oracle databases is advantageous.
- Practical Python experience from internships, university projects, personal projects, or commercial development is advantageous.
- Basic exposure to both frontend and backend development is advantageous.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
