Responsibilities
- Manage cloud security posture using CNAPP/CSPM tools such as Wiz, AWS GuardDuty, and Datadog.
- Harden and continuously monitor cloud-native environments, especially Kubernetes.
- Manage cloud security configuration with Terraform and CDK.
- Configure, monitor, and audit Web Application Firewalls such as Cloudflare and AWS WAF.
- Participate in security incident response and conduct infrastructure security audits.
- Identify and remediate security threats in collaboration with infrastructure, development, and security teams.
- Manage Just-In-Time access, IAM roles, cloud accounts, and secure access to Kubernetes clusters, databases, cloud resources, and virtual machines.
- Develop security tools within the internal developer platform and evaluate new security tools through proofs of concept.
- Support the AppSec team in securing CI/CD pipelines and promote a Secure by Design culture.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of operating systems and networking.
- Understanding of IAM and access management concepts, including Just-In-Time access and role design.
- Experience with cloud security tools such as Wiz, AWS GuardDuty, Datadog, or similar CNAPP/CSPM platforms is preferred.
- Experience configuring and managing WAFs such as AWS WAF, Cloudflare, or similar tools is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
