Responsibilities

Design and build backend services for search, remediation, and quarantine workflows.
Collaborate with Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, and Product Manager to deliver features end-to-end.
Ensure system reliability through unit tests, integration testing, and production observability.
Participate in on-call rotations and provide technical support for customer issues.
Contribute to API design for customer-facing REST endpoints.
Communicate effectively in an async-first environment and propose solutions.
Leverage AI development tools to enhance productivity and deliver reliable outcomes.
Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.

BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of industry experience in backend development and distributed systems.
Experience building features from scratch and operating them in production.
Proficient in asynchronous communication and working with distributed teams.
Experience improving service reliability and observability in production systems.
Strong fundamentals in computer science, data structures, and system design.
