Responsibilities

Own and evolve the observability stack for monitoring and alerting.
Design and develop key platform features from technical design to production rollout.
Take ownership of 1-3 key services within Observability or Data Infra.
Participate in on-call rotations to diagnose and resolve production issues.
Improve system resilience by automating solutions and refining SLAs/SLOs.
Build platforms and tooling to facilitate faster deployments for engineering teams.
Communicate effectively in a distributed environment and mentor junior engineers.
Raise the bar of engineering excellence through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

4+ years of backend engineering experience with distributed systems.
Strong proficiency in Python and working proficiency in Golang.
Experience building systems that process data at scale.
Demonstrated experience owning a service or platform end-to-end.
Ability to balance feature development with operational responsibilities.
Experience writing technical design documents and breaking down complex problems.
Proven incident response capability and strong testing discipline.
Solid understanding of monitoring, alerting, and observability principles.
