Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, troubleshoots, reviews, and debugs secure, high-quality production software.
- Builds and manages containerized distributed applications using effective orchestration and scaling strategies.
- Designs and implements control plane architectures for large-scale distributed applications, including resource management and orchestration.
- Identifies and automates remediation of recurring issues to improve application and system operational stability.
- Drives adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering and automation practices, including code review, refactoring, testing, incident analysis, and root-cause analysis support.
- Establishes validation standards covering secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
- Contributes to an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with advanced applied experience.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and frameworks, such as Python, Django, or Java.
- Practical experience with automation, continuous delivery methods, system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, application resiliency, security, and agile development practices.
- Experience using SDLC toolchains and enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities.
- Proficiency in a technical discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile technology.
- Proven expertise designing, deploying, and managing containerized distributed applications, including orchestration and scaling.
- Experience designing and implementing control plane architectures for large-scale applications and distributed systems.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
- Preferred hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL or similar distributed databases, including data consistency, reliability, and performance in distributed environments.
