Responsibilities

Build and operate large-scale distributed systems powering AI-ready web search.
Develop APIs, frontends, and data pipelines for indexing, retrieval, and monitoring.
Design and implement high-performance user interfaces for developers and enterprise users.
Maintain the web application and other user-facing products.
Optimize performance, scalability, and resource usage across the technology stack.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design.
Collaborate with ML and product teams to deliver data-driven features.
Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and debug production issues.
Build dashboards, developer tools, data-validation interfaces, ranking-evaluation workflows, and retraining workflows.

At least 3 years of experience in both frontend and backend development.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
Ability to work across server-side and client-side performance, reliability, and code quality concerns.
Experience debugging production issues and optimizing performance bottlenecks.
Curiosity about AI infrastructure and retrieval systems.
Interest in Linkup’s mission to build search for AI agents and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment.
