Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews to ensure code quality, testability, efficiency, and adherence to available technology guidelines.
- Contribute to documentation and educational content and update it based on product changes and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, service operations, and quality.
- Implement solutions in specialized ML areas, use ML infrastructure, contribute to model optimization, and process data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or one year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Two years of software development experience in C++.
- One year of experience building and deploying production recommendation-system models involving retrieval, prediction, ranking, personalization, search quality, or embeddings.
- One year of experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: two years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
- Preferred: experience developing ranking, recommendation, prediction, search-quality, or personalization algorithms and software that generates suggestions from varied inputs and output goals.
