Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical strategy, roadmap, and architecture for the GTI Threat Scoring platform and verdict engine.
- Mentor and grow mid-level and executive software engineers in Málaga while setting standards for code quality, design documentation, and system reliability.
- Serve as a technical anchor across Google Cloud Security and partner with security engineers, threat analysts, and domain experts.
- Architect cloud-native microservices supporting low-latency graph propagation and real-time threat intelligence streaming.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 5 years of full-stack development experience across Java, Python, Golang, or C++ back-end codebases and JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS front-end technologies.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Preferred: experience with statistical classification models, false-positive mitigation, score calibration, and leveraging Large Language Models in production.
Benefits
- Spain compensation is €120000–€123000 EUR plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
