Base Salary
$187k - $268k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize highly available, reliable, scalable cloud and data infrastructure.
- Implement SRE practices including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, root cause analysis, and postmortem reviews.
- Collaborate with development, product, customer, and security teams to deliver secure and operationally efficient solutions.
- Lead the team’s architectural vision, technical strategy, roadmap, and infrastructure planning.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive proactive performance and reliability improvements.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance while promoting engineering and operational excellence.
- Engage customers and stakeholders to understand use cases and translate feedback into technical priorities.
- Use programming and systems engineering to build data platform capabilities and automation.
- Develop processes and infrastructure for deploying software components at enterprise scale while enforcing engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience, or master’s degree and 6 years, or PhD and 3 years.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, production-ready solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes or EKS, networking, security, and CI/CD.
- Experience with observability and monitoring, including metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar programming languages and strong software development fundamentals.
- Preferred experience architecting, building, and operating highly available cloud infrastructure at scale.
- Preferred experience with cloud, infrastructure, or application security and security best practices.
- Preferred experience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and influencing across organizational boundaries.
- Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKAD, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent cloud or security certifications are preferred.
- Strong communication, ownership, accountability, prioritization, and ability to influence diverse teams are preferred.

- The posted starting salary range is $186,900.00 to $267,700.00, excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
