Responsibilities
- Apply data science methods, statistics, operations research, and machine learning to real-world business situations.
- Design, build, and deploy scalable AI and analytics solutions for clients across industries.
- Partner with clients and explain sophisticated data science concepts and complex results clearly.
- Create simple, clear visualizations of complex results and processes.
- Write code collaboratively using modern development tools.
- Develop and deliver thought leadership, scientific papers, and conference presentations on behalf of BCG X.
- Lead teams and manage projects in a client-facing environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university master’s or PhD degree program in Computer Research Science, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Significant experience applying advanced analytics to business situations and synthesizing complex data.
- Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical foundations.
- Ability to translate technical analysis into business implications for clients.
- Comfort with client-facing work, collaborative coding, modern development tools, and clear communication.
- Strong project management skills.
- Python programming experience.
- Software development or DevOps experience is a bonus.
