Base Salary
$70k - $111k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale cloud-native, API-first applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture.
- Develop end-to-end capabilities using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Build and operate scalable AWS solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, serverless technologies, Kafka, SNS, and SQS.
- Integrate generative and agentic AI capabilities using LLMs/SLMs, MCP, RAG, agent orchestration frameworks, and AI-assisted automation.
- Establish engineering practices for CI/CD, automated and performance testing, infrastructure as code, observability, security, and application performance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years designing or architecting cloud-native services on AWS.
- Hands-on expertise with Java 11/17/21, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, JSON, OpenAPI, asynchronous messaging, and API integration patterns.
- Full-stack experience with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and deploying AWS cloud-native applications using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, serverless technologies, Kafka, SNS/SQS, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code such as Terraform or CloudFormation, automated testing, observability, performance tuning, and application security.
- Preferred experience with generative or agentic AI, LLMs/SLMs, RAG, MCP, agent orchestration frameworks, Python, micro frontends, CEN/XFS APIs, WebSockets, Redis, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, observability platforms, AI-assisted development tools, prompt engineering, or commercial banking.
