Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery of complex cloud-native and AI-enabled customer engagements as a hands-on individual contributor and, when required, engineering team lead.
- Define technology strategy and scalable solution architectures aligned with business objectives, Microsoft reference architectures, and architectural best practices.
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions on Microsoft Azure and related Microsoft technologies.
- Translate customer needs into technical requirements and solution designs through user-centered design, prototyping, and feedback.
- Set technical priorities, estimate effort, manage dependencies, make trade-offs, and drive successful releases.
- Ensure performance, security, compliance, quality, and operational effectiveness across assigned engagements.
- Identify technical risks and dependencies, define mitigation strategies, handle escalations, and plan short- and long-term delivery risks.
- Apply information security, compliance, assurance, Zero Trust, and Microsoft governance requirements.
- Drive digital transformation, reuse intellectual property and shared assets, and improve delivery speed and predictability.
- Collaborate with Sales and account-aligned teams to articulate technical value and support adoption of Microsoft cloud and AI solutions.
- Lead customer prototyping, pilots, and early production deployments, including troubleshooting performance, reliability, cost, security, and data quality issues.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, application development, and solution delivery, focused on enterprise-scale customer-facing engagements.
- 5+ years of customer-facing delivery leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related field.
- Strong experience building and deploying enterprise applications with .NET, C#, .NET Web APIs, and Node.js.
- Full-stack experience across UI, API, service, domain, data, and integration layers using C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular or React, HTML5, and CSS/SCSS.
- Knowledge of large-scale software architecture patterns including MVC, CQRS, and Saga, along with performance, scalability, resiliency, testing, debugging, and parallel programming.
- Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, MySQL, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and MariaDB.
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Cognitive Search, Vector Search, RAG, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph, and AutoGen.
- Experience building LLM and agentic AI solutions, including prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, reliability tuning, and Responsible AI practices.
- Advanced Python experience implementing RAG pipelines, vector workflows, agent orchestration, and AI evaluation frameworks.
- Experience designing, implementing, operating, and troubleshooting large-scale cloud solutions on Azure or another public cloud.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Azure Functions, Service Fabric, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release strategies, monitoring, telemetry, and production readiness.
- Strong security expertise covering encryption, authentication and authorization, Zero Trust, IAM, threat modeling, compliance, DevSecOps, SAST/DAST, and secure CI/CD.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Threat Modeling Tool, Azure Sentinel, and Splunk is required or preferred as applicable.
- Experience delivering cloud migration, hybrid modernization, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives; exposure to Azure, AWS, and GCP is expected.
- Microsoft and cloud certifications such as AZ-204, AI-102, MCSD, MCSE, or equivalent modern cloud and AI certifications are preferred.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot and Cursor, customer co-innovation, rapid prototyping, and engineering alongside customer teams is beneficial.
