Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for embedded software platforms.
- Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and defect detection.
- Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, and validation teams on test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Execute and analyze tests in SIL, HIL, MIL, and/or VIL environments.
- Participate in code reviews and enhance test frameworks.
- Document test plans, test cases, procedures, and results according to internal quality standards.
- Support CI/CD pipelines through automated test integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns on automation practices and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, electronic engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a related field.
- Experience developing, testing, and debugging software with MATLAB/Simulink.
- Experience with Git.
- Advanced or fluent English sufficient for meetings, negotiation, argumentation, and training.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lead initiatives and coach junior engineers and interns.
- Preferred experience with ECU-Test or other test automation tools, transmission systems, C, C++, Python, CAN/Ethernet protocols, RTOS, J1939, UDS, and software code standards.
- Preferred experience in agroindustry or automotive industries, AI applied to software engineering, bug classification and fixing, and ISTQB certification or equivalent.
