Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for embedded software platforms.
- Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and defect detection.
- Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, and validation teams on test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Execute tests in SIL, HIL, MIL, and/or VIL environments and analyze results to identify defects.
- Participate in code reviews and enhance test frameworks.
- Document test plans, test cases, procedures, and results according to internal quality standards and requirements.
- Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines through automated test integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns on test automation practices and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, electronic engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a related field.
- Experience developing, testing, and debugging software using languages such as C, C++, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Experience with Git.
- Advanced English communication skills, including conducting meetings, negotiating, and providing training.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lead initiatives and coach junior engineers and interns.
- Preferred experience with ECU-Test or other test automation tools, CAN/Ethernet protocols, RTOS, code standards, automotive or agroindustry systems, J1939, UDS, defect classification and fixing, and AI applied to software engineering.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is preferred.
