Base Salary
$135k - $251k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on C/C++ development for GPS and related equipment, including integration and debugging on target hardware.
- Lead documentation, design communication, and demonstrations of compliance with requirements.
- Provide technical leadership across new programs from conceptual design through completion.
- Lead incremental modification, analysis, and testing of legacy programs.
- Interpret customer specifications and define software design requirements.
- Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to software engineers.
- Contribute to external proposals and customer engagement efforts as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with at least 9 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s or advanced degree with at least 7 years of related experience, or 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 5 years of experience developing or analyzing signal-processing algorithms and implementing them for GPS systems.
- At least 5 years of experience serving as a team lead, technical lead, or subject matter expert on an embedded software development project.
- At least 5 years of technical contribution experience with DoD or DoW customers or subcontractors.
- Expertise in Python and C/C++, embedded software development using Linux or Windows, and algorithms involving signal processing, linear algebra, control, estimation, filtering, or detection is preferred.
- Experience with real-time embedded software for GPS user equipment, real-time embedded operating systems, MOSA software development, MBSE toolchains, GPS concepts, and defense-industry documentation is preferred.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and software tasking and review tools including Jenkins, Bamboo, Jira, and Git is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and hold a DoD SECRET clearance.
- Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
