Base Salary
$135k - $251k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on C/C++ development, integration, and debugging for GPS and related equipment on target hardware.
- Lead software programs from conceptual design through detailed design, completion, incremental modification, analysis, and testing.
- Interpret customer specifications and define software requirements and design solutions.
- Lead documentation, code reviews, proof-of-concept evaluations, and compliance demonstrations.
- Provide technical guidance to software engineers and contribute to proposals and customer engagement efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, with at least 9 years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s or advanced degree with at least 7 years, or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 5 years of experience developing or analyzing anti-spoofing cryptographic features for GPS systems.
- At least 5 years of experience as a team lead, technical lead, or subject matter expert on an embedded software development project.
- At least 5 years of experience working with DoD or DoW customers or subcontractors.
- Expertise in Python and C/C++, embedded Linux or Windows development, and real-time embedded GPS user equipment software.
- Experience with GPS concepts and algorithms, including signal acquisition and tracking, PVT calculation, demodulation, signal correction, jamming, and spoofing.
- Experience with real-time embedded operating systems or MOSA software development, MBSE, software tasking and review tools, and defense-industry documentation and milestone reviews.
- Ability to obtain and hold a DoD SECRET clearance.
- Strong written, oral communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
