Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and qualification workshops with European prospects, especially in France and Germany.
- Design and estimate tailored cloud, on-premise, and hybrid architectures integrating ILLUIN’s generative AI products.
- Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and oversee customer Proofs of Concept.
- Partner with Account Executives throughout international sales cycles and support technical strategy.
- Lead the technical, functional, and architectural sections of RFI/RFP responses in English and German.
- Present technical value propositions, address objections, and support customer closing discussions.
- Capture European market feedback for the product and R&D roadmaps.
- Transfer knowledge to Customer Success, Professional Services, and Project Management teams after contract signature.
- Represent ILLUIN as a technical expert at European events, trade shows, and webinars.
Requirements
- Bac+5 minimum from an engineering grande école in computer science, data science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of customer-facing technical experience in a role such as Solution Architect, Sales Engineer, senior AI/Data Consultant, or Tech Lead.
- Excellent knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with deep familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, fine-tuning, RAG, data pipelines, and vector databases.
- Strong knowledge of MLOps and associated tools, software architecture, and systems integration.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, virtualization, APIs, and microservices.
- Knowledge of data security, GDPR, the EU AI Act, SecNumCloud, and Germany’s C5 requirements.
- Proficiency in Python and data/AI libraries including Pandas, Scikit-learn, LangChain, and Transformers.
- Bilingual or native-level German and French, plus fluent English.
- Ability to travel frequently in Europe, primarily Germany, and communicate complex technical concepts to business and executive stakeholders.
