Product Security Senior

Responsibilities
- Use agentic security systems, custom static analysis, manual review, and threat modeling to identify security risks.
- Validate whether findings are real and exploitable, manually or by extending automated tooling.
- Author and maintain static-analysis rules that prevent recurring vulnerability classes at pull-request time.
- Contribute to the intake process for selecting high-value findings for merge-blocking rules.
- Provide security consulting on difficult architectural questions and apply security-scoping methodology across products.
- Partner directly with product engineering teams to discover, remediate, and prevent vulnerabilities across the enterprise software portfolio.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, application security, or a directly adjacent role.
- Have at least 2 years of hands-on vulnerability-discovery experience.
- Have deep familiarity with at least one major language ecosystem, such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or Ruby, and be able to reason about code in other languages.
- Have working knowledge of static-analysis tooling and custom rule authoring, tuning, and maintenance, including Semgrep, CodeQL, or equivalent.
- Have practical experience with threat modeling, authentication and authorization design, cloud security architecture, or supply chain security.
- Be comfortable scoping work independently in ambiguous situations and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Hold a related technical degree.
- Preferred qualifications include hands-on agentic security tooling experience, adopted custom static-analysis rules, meaningful vulnerability discoveries, security partnership with product engineering teams, authorization-at-scale experience, open-source security contributions, technical publications, or conference talks.
