Base Salary

Responsibilities

Define standards-based deployment patterns, reusable platform capabilities, and secure runtime architectures for responsible AI agents.
Automate AI platform buildout, release standardization, environment provisioning, CI/CD, Terraform and Helm deployments, and operational runbooks.
Operate reliable AI platform services with incident response, capacity planning, monitoring, tracing, rollback, and disaster recovery.
Establish guardrails, governance, secure releases, observability, and production-readiness standards with InfoSec, CloudOps, DevOps, and platform engineering teams.
Coach engineers, lead design reviews, guide implementations toward approved architecture patterns, and drive cost, speed, reliability, and security tradeoffs.

Requires 8–10 years of engineering experience, including 7+ years building and operating production systems on cloud platforms and hands-on AI/ML service deployment in production.
Requires 2–3 years using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor for platform buildout, deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Requires experience with GCP, AWS, or hybrid cloud/datacenter deployments, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Helm.
Requires working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWT, RBAC, IAM, workload identity, service-to-service authentication, and securing API and tool access.
Requires 4+ years of scripting and automation experience, preferably with Python and JavaScript, plus troubleshooting across Linux, containers, Kubernetes, networking, and production incidents.
Must be able to architect secure, cost-efficient hosting for open-source LLMs on premises or in dedicated cloud environments.
Preferred qualifications include experience with LangGraph, Google ADK, A2A patterns, tool calling, RAG, evaluation, LangSmith, Grafana/LGTM, NVIDIA GPU Operator, Vertex AI, Dagster, Prefect, and Airflow.
Strong communication, mentoring, stakeholder-management, project-planning, and production-deployment flexibility are preferred.
