Base Salary

$87k - $198k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance software for space-domain ground systems and real-time mission capabilities.
  • Modernize legacy applications and transition them to microservice-based architectures.
  • Architect and implement mission-focused capabilities that improve performance, resilience, and operational speed.
  • Develop complete solutions using back-end and front-end programming languages.
  • Create solutions to complex problems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Acquire client requirements and optimize workflows through automation when needed.
  • Use automated testing tools for software testing and maintenance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience using languages such as Java, Python, Rust, or Go.
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux-based systems, containers, and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Experience transitioning legacy applications to modernized microservice-based architectures.
  • Experience working with a cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, or Google.
  • Experience developing complete solutions with back-end and front-end languages.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of software engineering experience, or 10+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Preferred experience with Agile environments, client requirements, workflow automation, C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and automated testing tools.
  • Preferred TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and master's degree.
  • Selected applicants must complete a required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold.
