Responsibilities
- Define and execute reliability strategies for customer-facing analytics and data products.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data products, metrics, KPIs, and success criteria with Product Management.
- Build and maintain real-time dashboards, analytics APIs, and user-centric data experiences focused on performance and reliability.
- Implement A/B testing frameworks, experimentation platforms, monitoring, automated testing, and user feedback analytics.
- Establish SLAs for data product availability, latency, and accuracy.
- Monitor and optimize end-user performance, including page-load experience.
- Lead incident response for data product issues affecting customer experience.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Customer Success.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product engineering, data engineering, or site reliability engineering.
- 5+ years building customer-facing data products, analytics platforms, or business applications.
- Proven record of shipping data products with measurable business impact and experience across the product development lifecycle.
- Expert-level experience building user-facing applications and APIs.
- Advanced Python, Java, or Node.js skills for API development and data services.
- Expert-level SQL skills, including query optimization for interactive analytics.
- Extensive experience with AWS or GCP data and compute services.
- Experience with incident management, monitoring, observability, and tools including Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
- Strong product sense, technical writing skills, and ability to balance technical constraints with user needs.
- Experience with agile product development methodologies and a track record of building and scaling product engineering teams.
