Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications with a focus on React, TypeScript, and Java.
- Build and integrate REST APIs and GraphQL services.
- Develop backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures.
- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps.
- Implement responsive, reusable, and high-performance front-end components.
- Apply application security practices using OAuth2, JWT, and role-based access controls.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers on end-to-end solutions.
- Stay current with web technologies and apply performance and security best practices.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of full-stack application development experience with strong React and Java expertise.
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, responsive design, browser compatibility, state management, and front-end performance optimization.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, object-oriented programming, multithreading, concurrency, collections, Java Streams, functional programming, CompletableFuture, the Executor Framework, and thread pools.
- Knowledge of JVM internals, memory management, garbage collection, and performance tuning.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, microservices, API design, and integration patterns.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong proficiency with Git and modern source control practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include financial services or financial services risk experience, familiarity with Agile development, LLM fundamentals, prompt engineering, and AI APIs or AI-powered application components.
