Base Salary
$158k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain tests and testing infrastructure to improve the reliability and performance of robotic systems.
- Investigate software failures, troubleshoot complex system behavior, and identify root causes.
- Write and enhance C++ and scripting code for testing, validation, and debugging.
- Analyze system metrics, logs, telemetry, and production data to identify trends and edge cases.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve software quality, testing processes, and robot reliability.
Requirements
- Strong C++ programming skills, including experience reading, debugging, and modifying production code and understanding memory management, data structures, and concurrency.
- Proficiency in Python and scripting languages for workflow automation, log and telemetry analysis, troubleshooting, and testing-tool development.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, ownership, communication, and independent-working skills.
- Experience developing and executing module-level and system-level tests, including automated, failure-scenario, and regression testing.
- Software development fundamentals including Linux, Git, and debugging tools.
- Experience with robotics, embedded systems, hardware-in-the-loop testing, simulation, production systems, data analysis, or observability tools is a strong plus.
