Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical vision across intelligent networking, distributed systems, real-time data processing, agentic AI, and machine learning.
- Lead the complete software development lifecycle from architecture and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production operations.
- Design and build scalable microservices, data pipelines, distributed data platforms, agentic solutions, and networking integrations.
- Participate hands-on in design reviews, code reviews, technical discussions, and implementation.
- Mentor engineers, establish technical direction, and foster engineering excellence.
- Build resilient, secure, observable, scalable, and operationally reliable systems while improving architecture, performance, and engineering processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of complete software development lifecycle experience and at least 7 years of programming experience.
- Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language, preferably Python, Java, Go, or C++.
- At least 3 years of experience leading the design and architecture of large-scale distributed systems, preferably on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with real-time microservices, stream processing, distributed data platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI or agentic systems, network telemetry, or large-scale analytics.
- Experience designing high-volume, high-velocity data systems with stringent scalability, availability, latency, and operational reliability requirements.
- Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Ability to solve complex and ambiguous technical problems and translate them into production-ready solutions.
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience with generative AI or agentic systems, networking and observability systems, large-scale datasets, event-driven microservices, and distributed processing technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Flink, PySpark, or MapReduce.
