Responsibilities
- Work with large datasets, advanced algorithms, and feature engineering.
- Build scalable machine learning solutions and robust data infrastructure.
- Develop reusable software components and machine learning frameworks.
- Build ML pipelines and deploy models and ML applications into production.
- Write well-structured, reusable code and apply sound software development practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to shape the internal AI ecosystem.
- Handle heterogeneous batch and streaming data, including related data structures, databases, and storage technologies.
- Drive innovation and contribute to consulting assignments for customers across multiple industries.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience with machine learning and AI technologies.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in relevant roles such as Machine Learning Engineer.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of Python programming experience and several years of programming in modern languages.
- Experience developing software products that have successfully reached production.
- Strong experience with cloud technologies for machine learning, preferably Google Cloud and Vertex AI.
- Strong MLOps skills, including building ML pipelines and deploying ML applications to production.
- Broad knowledge of AI and machine learning techniques and experience with different frameworks.
- Experience handling large volumes of heterogeneous batch and streaming data, with knowledge of data structures, databases, and storage technologies.
- Ability to work in an agile, collaborative team environment and support data-driven, responsible, and reliable experimentation.
