Responsibilities
- Build core machine learning systems for a proactive, long-horizon AI product.
- Own data preparation, training, evaluation, inference, and iteration end to end.
- Turn research ideas into reliable production systems and debug model and system failures using production signals.
- Optimize ML systems for latency, cost, reliability, safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues with minimal disruption.
- Build robust, scalable, and maintainable training, inference, and data pipelines.
- Mentor and review other ML engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Collaborate with research, product, and engineering to integrate ML features and deliver user impact.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping machine learning systems used by real users.
- Understanding of how modern machine learning models behave and fail in production.
- Strong production-quality coding and systems-thinking skills.
- Ability to take ownership, work independently, and deliver ambiguous projects.
- Ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly, and improve through iteration.
