Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve the quality engineering platform, including testing architecture, reusable frameworks, shared libraries, fixtures, test data systems, and developer tooling.
- Build AI-assisted quality workflows using LLMs for test generation, maintenance, failure analysis, root-cause identification, and regression detection.
- Create automated test suites for APIs, backend services, frontend applications, blockchain interactions, and trading functionality, integrating them with CI/CD quality gates.
- Validate trading flows, order matching, execution paths, routing logic, fee calculations, settlement, and consistency across backend services, blockchain state, and frontend behavior.
- Build containerized testing environments and automated load, stress, endurance, resilience, contract, integration, and end-to-end tests for distributed systems.
- Improve observability, production issue investigation, test execution efficiency, and organization-wide automation practices while mentoring engineers.
Requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, production-quality software and build scalable automation frameworks and reusable testing libraries from scratch.
- Have 5+ years of experience in SDET, quality engineering, test automation, or software engineering roles.
- Have strong software engineering skills with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Have strong experience with Playwright or Cypress and API testing involving REST, JSON-RPC, GraphQL, WebSocket, or similar technologies.
- Have experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and using Docker for containerized testing environments.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with developer-productivity or quality-engineering platforms, distributed-system testing architecture, performance and reliability testing, observability, financial or high-throughput systems, blockchain and DEX testing, AI-assisted testing systems, Kubernetes, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines.
