Responsibilities
- Design and evolve the quality engineering platform, including testing architecture, reusable frameworks, shared libraries, fixtures, and developer tooling.
- Build AI-assisted workflows using LLMs for test generation, test maintenance, failure analysis, root-cause identification, and regression detection.
- Create automated test suites for APIs, backend services, frontend applications, blockchain interactions, and critical trading functionality.
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines with parallelization, intelligent test selection, caching, and automated quality gates.
- Validate trading flows, order matching, execution paths, routing logic, fee calculations, settlement, and consistency across backend, blockchain, and frontend behavior.
- Build containerized testing environments and automated load, stress, endurance, resilience, and degraded-condition testing for distributed systems.
- Improve observability and production issue investigation while driving quality engineering practices and mentoring engineers.
Requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, production-quality software rather than only automated tests.
- Build scalable automation frameworks and reusable testing libraries from scratch.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in SDET, Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Engineering roles.
- Have strong software engineering skills with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Have strong experience with Playwright or Cypress and with testing APIs such as REST, JSON-RPC, GraphQL, or WebSocket.
- Have experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and using Docker for containerized testing environments.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate across engineering disciplines.
- Preferred experience includes quality-engineering or developer-productivity platforms, distributed-system testing architecture, performance and reliability testing, observability, production debugging, reliable test data and environments, transactional or high-throughput systems, AI-assisted testing, financial or blockchain platforms, and Kubernetes or cloud-native infrastructure.
