Base Salary
$132k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain localization automation workflows and infrastructure using Python, REST APIs, TMS platforms, content repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and internal services.
- Write, test, deploy, and maintain production-grade software independently, primarily in Python.
- Integrate LLM APIs, custom machine-translation pipelines, and advanced TMS capabilities into localization automation frameworks.
- Own architectural decisions, system integrity, vendor management, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex localization integration and reliability issues.
- Conduct code-level internationalization reviews across React, Go, and Java codebases and build AST-based analysis or linting tools.
- Administer enterprise TMS instances, including schema configuration, webhooks, payload parsing, and custom data connectors.
- Build CLI tools, custom linters, and pseudo-localization build hooks to detect globalization issues during builds and pull requests.
- Partner with localization and product engineering teams to improve global readiness and report on workflow performance.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in software or globalization engineering, including experience architecting localization solutions at scale.
- Expert proficiency in Python, API development, and software engineering principles for automation infrastructure and system integrations.
- Experience with enterprise CMS or MSM platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs and custom machine-translation pipelines programmatically.
- Deep understanding of localization and TMS architecture, content parsing, and formats including JSON, XML, XLIFF, and properties files.
- Ability to perform i18n code reviews across React, Go, and Java codebases using AST-based parsing or linting.
- Experience operating independently, solving complex technical problems, and managing multiple technical projects.
- Preferred experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Git, automated i18n/l10n testing frameworks, and workflow-performance analysis.
