Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, modernize, migrate, optimize, and operate AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise platforms and digital services.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and other approved tools.
- Manage source repositories, branching strategies, merge requests, and infrastructure code governance.
- Create architecture documents, solution designs, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and platform visibility solutions.
- Apply cloud governance frameworks, security standards, compliance requirements, and vulnerability remediation practices.
- Support security reviews, audits, risk assessments, incident management, root cause analysis, patching, maintenance, and technology refresh activities.
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments hosted on AWS.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, security, infrastructure, management, and vendor stakeholders while providing technical recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or related technical roles.
- Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating AWS cloud environments.
- Strong experience administering and troubleshooting Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
- Experience delivering solutions in greenfield and brownfield environments.
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
- Experience supporting enterprise DevSecOps platforms and managing Git repositories, branching, source control, and infrastructure code.
- Experience creating technical documentation with Confluence or similar platforms.
- Understanding of AWS networking, IAM, security controls, monitoring, logging, operational resilience, governance, risk, compliance, and regulated environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and independent initiative skills.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate, regulated-cloud experience, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Amazon CloudWatch, and experience with governance, architecture, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, SRE, DevSecOps, ITIL, service management, vendor management, or operational governance.
