Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, direction, and guidance to the development team.
- Balance hands-on software development with software architecture and solution design.
- Design, develop, and maintain Java and Spring Boot backend services.
- Design and develop microservices-based and AWS serverless solutions.
- Work with TypeScript, SQL and NoSQL data solutions, asynchronous application components, and distributed systems.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, solution design, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub-based development.
- Collaborate with domain architects, developers, DevOps professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Support reliable, maintainable, scalable software and communicate technical concepts across teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Tech Lead or Team Lead roles.
- 8+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Advanced Java backend development experience, including Spring Boot.
- Experience with TypeScript, AWS serverless development, microservices architecture, and software architecture concepts.
- Database experience covering SQL and NoSQL solutions.
- Experience with GitHub, asynchronous programming, Unix/Linux, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Scrum, SAFe, and/or Kanban.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent graduation, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred qualifications include automotive or connected-application experience, AWS CDK, AWS CodePipeline, Docker, serverless development, scalability, load testing, application profiling, and performance optimization.
- Must be comfortable remaining hands-on with development rather than working solely in an architectural or managerial capacity.
