Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and support the design and implementation of software applications.
- Serve as a principal developer and provide expert guidance on technical and business matters.
- Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs with an emphasis on performance, security, and maintainability.
- Act as a technical point of contact across multiple projects and work streams.
- Plan and strategize with teams, identify potential issues, and recommend workable alternatives.
- Mentor technical staff and lead efforts to resolve technical challenges.
- Coordinate software development activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Guide and participate in recruiting technical talent.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend application development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Micronaut, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, ECS, and CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in MySQL, Oracle, Hibernate, and JPA2.
- Familiarity with Splunk, Datadog, Mixpanel, and other observability tools.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, security, and testing practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a consulting mindset.
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team growth.
