Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for complex projects.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, provide technical guidance, and drive technology and implementation decisions.
- Design and build cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform and develop BigQuery solutions for analytics and data processing.
- Design, develop, and maintain Python backend applications and REST APIs using FastAPI.
- Integrate backend services with databases, cloud services, external platforms, OpenAI APIs, and other large language models.
- Design and implement Generative AI applications, AI-driven workflows, and automation capabilities.
- Implement security, authentication, logging, testing, monitoring, API documentation, and performance optimization.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle from design through production support, including deployment and release management.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments while identifying and mitigating technical risks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to align technical delivery with business goals.
Requirements
- Mandatory spoken and written Swedish proficiency.
- 5–10 years of professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
- Strong hands-on Python development experience.
- Hands-on experience developing REST APIs with FastAPI.
- Hands-on experience integrating OpenAI APIs and implementing Generative AI solutions.
- Experience leading development teams and driving technical decisions.
- Preferred experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, AI agents, workflow automation, cloud security, IAM, CI/CD, automated testing, data platforms, monitoring and observability, database design, code reviews, and technical roadmaps.
- GCP or AI/Generative AI certifications are preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in hybrid and distributed teams is preferred.
