Base Salary
$250k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines for firm-wide data use.
- Write production code and develop firm-wide data solutions using programming and analysis skills.
- Participate in development, testing, and software release activities.
- Apply data pipelining and database management knowledge to support data integrity.
- Collaborate with data engineers, receive mentorship, and complete assigned projects.
Requirements
- Hands-on proficiency in Python development on Linux.
- Strong understanding of data structures and threading models.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with frequent software deployment.
- Interest in solving complex problems and building optimal solutions from scratch.
- Comfort with Claude Code and reliable, predictable availability.
- Prior data engineering internship or job experience is helpful but not required.
- Advanced coursework in algorithms and data structures and exposure to data analytics tools such as Pandas are helpful but not required.
- No finance or economics study or work experience is required.
