Base Salary
$139k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based tools for fleet data-collection planning.
- Build and optimize internal tooling for data-collection workflows.
- Develop metrics and surface them in live dashboards for quality monitoring.
- Contribute to map tooling for validating mapping updates.
- Manage relational and spatial databases to ensure data integrity.
- Leverage AWS services to build scalable data pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data-collection capabilities.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and ensure project alignment.
- Contribute to engineering excellence through code reviews and documentation.
- Identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python with experience in production-quality tools.
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis.
- Working knowledge of C++ and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and SQLite.
- Experience with Databricks for data processing.
- Ability to build metrics and reporting pipelines.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management tools.
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
