Responsibilities
- Build production systems and scalable data pipelines that transform cybercrime intelligence into reusable identity trust signals.
- Ingest, enrich, correlate, and operationalize intelligence from phishing campaigns, infostealer ecosystems, credential marketplaces, breach datasets, malware telemetry, and eBay security signals.
- Develop device intelligence capabilities including device reputation, device binding, trusted-device establishment, device graphing, hardware-backed trust, emulator detection, and browser integrity assessment.
- Build low-latency services and APIs that combine device, credential, behavioral, transaction, infrastructure, and cybercrime intelligence for adaptive authentication and risk-based protection.
- Detect credential theft, account takeover, cookie theft, malicious automation, identity impersonation, and compromised or synthetic devices.
- Partner with Identity Engineering and Product teams to embed security into authentication, passkey and WebAuthn enrollment, account recovery, device trust, and identity verification.
- Help define security models for consumer agents, including agent identity, delegated authority, provenance, trust scoring, behavioral intelligence, revocation, and malicious-agent detection.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong software engineering experience building distributed production systems.
- Excellent programming skills in Python, Java, Go, or similar modern languages.
- Experience designing APIs, data platforms, distributed services, or event-driven systems.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure and modern observability practices.
- Strong understanding of secure software engineering principles.
- Ability to solve ambiguous technical problems through pragmatic engineering.
- Preferred experience in consumer identity security, cybercrime intelligence, device intelligence, WebAuthn, Passkeys, FIDO2, OAuth, OpenID Connect, session security, identity federation, adaptive authentication, or AI and agent security.
