Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software tools, applications, or back-end systems supporting engineering workflows and product development.
  • Contribute to firmware features, tools, test environments, and debug workflows for SSD and storage-related technologies.
  • Use Python, C/C++, or other programming languages and AI-assisted programming tools to build scripts, services, and automation.
  • Analyze engineering data, logs, and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software or firmware issues, reproduce problems, and assist with root-cause analysis.
  • Work in Linux-based development environments to build, test, and deploy software or firmware.
  • Collaborate with software, firmware, data science, and product engineering teams.
  • Document tools, code, workflows, and project deliverables.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with Python, C, C++, or another programming language.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based development environments.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, independent-work, and collaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and work in a technical team environment.
  • Preferred qualifications include firmware development, embedded software, device drivers, low-level systems programming, back-end development, APIs, service-oriented architecture, data analysis, scripting, automation, and Git.
  • Preferred familiarity includes SSDs, NAND flash, NVMe, PCIe, storage systems, AI-assisted programming tools, AI/ML concepts, and applied machine learning workflows.
