Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software tools or infrastructure supporting engineering workflows and product development.
  • Contribute to firmware features, embedded software, test environments, and debug workflows for SSD and storage technologies.
  • Apply machine learning, data analysis, or AI techniques to improve engineering productivity or validation efficiency.
  • Build automation frameworks and scripts for firmware testing and regression execution.
  • Support software and firmware validation, analyze failures, and assist with root-cause analysis.
  • Analyze test results, logs, and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with firmware, software, validation, and hardware teams and document tools and debug findings.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with Python, C, C++, Java, or another programming language listed in the posting.
  • Familiarity with Linux-based development environments and Git or other version-control tools.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical team environment.
  • Preferred experience includes firmware development, embedded software, low-level systems programming, SSDs, NAND flash, NVMe, PCIe, storage systems, software validation, test automation, regression frameworks, AI/ML, LLMs, AI agents, shell scripting, CI/CD tools, performance analysis, log analysis, or telemetry.
