Responsibilities

Build secure, scalable enterprise applications from prototype to production within OutSystems 11 and ODC.
Develop and translate UI prototypes into production-ready frontends based on client needs.
Align all components with existing design systems, including tokens, color, typography, and brand guidelines.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services, integrating external SQL databases via ODC Connections.
Manage complex application state and multi-step business logic securely on the server side.
Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and performance optimizations across the OutSystems stack.
Collaborate with UX Designers and other developers throughout the development lifecycle.
Assist with application lifecycles and release management, handling deployments and code merges.
Document technical decisions and implementations in Jira.

5+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade applications within the OutSystems platform.
Experience working in ODC, alongside strong O11 foundational knowledge.
Understanding of the OutSystems 3-Layer Canvas and App/Library containerization.
Solid experience integrating and querying external relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
Proficiency in consuming and exposing RESTful APIs within a low-code environment.
Ability to design and manage application state without relying on modern JavaScript frameworks.
Familiarity with OutSystems release management tools and deployment processes.
Solid understanding of enterprise web security principles.
Previous experience in the Insurance or Financial Services sector is a bonus.
Active OutSystems Certifications are a plus.
