Responsibilities
- Define and drive the ecosystem strategy for Databricks.
- Develop frameworks, APIs, and tools for seamless application integration.
- Enable customers to integrate advanced applications and functionalities.
- Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business development teams.
- Engage with open-source communities and advocate for best practices.
- Represent Databricks at industry events and conferences.
Requirements
- Deep passion for and knowledge of the data and AI industry.
- 10+ years of experience building data-intensive applications or systems.
- Strong expertise in database systems and big data processing.
- Experience designing high-performance APIs and managing integrations.
- Strong understanding of data security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills to evangelize the ecosystem vision.
