Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance Salesforce Education Cloud solutions aligned with academic and business processes.
- Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Flows, platform events, and asynchronous Apex.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, MuleSoft, and custom connectors.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal engineering teams to review, develop, and deploy enhancements.
- Support Salesforce data backup, data masking, security solutions, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Participate in roadmap planning, code reviews, technical documentation, and release management.
- Explore and implement AI-driven solutions that improve student engagement, automation, and analytics.
Requirements
- Requires 3–5 years of Salesforce development experience.
- Requires experience with Salesforce Education Cloud and understanding of the Higher Education Data Architecture.
- Requires technical skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, platform events, asynchronous Apex, and external integrations.
- Requires familiarity with Salesforce data backup and data masking tools.
- Requires experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred experience includes Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Agentforce, AI-based tools, predictive analytics, and Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Platform Developer II or Salesforce Education Cloud Consultant, are advantageous.
