Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain critical product functionality through production.
- Develop reliable full-stack features with substantial backend product engineering.
- Evaluate, benchmark, fine-tune, and integrate LLM capabilities for domain-specific workflows.
- Experiment with models, frameworks, and agent-based approaches in production using data and user feedback.
- Improve complex legacy code and add structure for scalability.
- Build infrastructure and automation for data-intensive and AI workloads.
- Work closely with leadership and teammates as a hands-on, high-ownership contributor.
Requirements
- Typically 2–3 years of professional experience, or relevant projects and another strong track record.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills with substantial backend product-building experience and the ability to work across backend and cloud environments.
- Fluency in Python; familiarity with Go is a plus.
- Practical experience benchmarking, fine-tuning, and integrating LLMs, including running production experiments.
- Experience building robust production systems, engineering for scale, automating systems, and working with complex legacy code.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, autonomy, adaptability, and a results-oriented approach.
- Startup or entrepreneurial experience is preferred.
- Logistics, freight, or supply-chain experience is useful.
Benefits
- Base salary range of €60,000 to €90,000 annually.
- Equity participation with options of up to 1% and possible additional grants.
- Fully on-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany; candidates should be based in Munich or willing to relocate.
