Responsibilities
- Design, build, and improve tools, libraries, and frameworks for engineering teams
- Build and test scalable tools for deployment to automotive and cloud platforms
- Optimize compile and build times using Bazel, CMake, and Docker
- Improve software deployment and data collection frameworks
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks within the software stack
- Collaborate across engineering teams to improve developer workflows, velocity, and reliability
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience, with consideration for high-performing new graduates with less than a 2.0 GPA on the German scale
- Experience with Python, Go, or Java
- Experience with CI, build, and deployment technologies including Bazel, Buildkite, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Scripting experience for automation
- Experience with Linux and/or ARM systems
- Experience with configuration-management tools such as Ansible and Terraform
- C and C++ experience is preferred
- Experience in automotive or related industries is preferred
- Experience deploying software to public clouds such as AWS or to on-premise clusters is preferred
- Ability to work independently and drive projects forward
