Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and improve tools, libraries, and frameworks for engineering teams
  • Build and test scalable tools for deployment to automotive and cloud platforms
  • Optimize compile and build times using Bazel, CMake, and Docker
  • Improve software deployment and data collection frameworks
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks within the software stack
  • Collaborate across engineering teams to improve developer workflows, velocity, and reliability

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience, with consideration for high-performing new graduates with less than a 2.0 GPA on the German scale
  • Experience with Python, Go, or Java
  • Experience with CI, build, and deployment technologies including Bazel, Buildkite, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
  • Scripting experience for automation
  • Experience with Linux and/or ARM systems
  • Experience with configuration-management tools such as Ansible and Terraform
  • C and C++ experience is preferred
  • Experience in automotive or related industries is preferred
  • Experience deploying software to public clouds such as AWS or to on-premise clusters is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects forward
