Responsibilities
- Define user requirements and develop functional specifications for small to large application projects.
- Design, develop, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and implement MES applications, integration components, and machine interfaces.
- Create technical specifications for junior developers and conduct application design reviews.
- Organize and manage individual projects or portions of larger projects, including work plans, technical coordination, budgets, and completion dates.
- Support assigned production systems, report issues to management, and evaluate new software products and processes.
- Participate in team activities, provide project status updates, maintain the on-call calendar, and address production issues while guiding Help Desk staff.
Requirements
- Requires 5 to 8+ years of progressive Information Technology experience.
- Requires at least 2 years of experience serving as a lead developer.
- Requires at least 3 years of development experience using Microsoft Visual Studio Suite.
- Requires at least 3 years of programming experience in an object-oriented SOA environment.
- Requires at least 3 years of experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and AJAX.
- Requires at least 3 years of Microsoft SQL Server development and profiling tools experience.
- Requires experience designing graphical user interfaces and user interactions, architecting solutions in a .NET SOA environment, and applying object-oriented programming principles.
- Requires strong knowledge of the systems development life cycle and experience across all phases of systems development.
- Requires experience leading small to medium-sized projects, troubleshooting and modifying existing code, consulting with users, and working on concurrent development tasks.
- Requires strong communication, business problem-solving, independent learning, teamwork, and knowledge of the supported business area.
