Responsibilities
- Define user requirements and develop functional specifications for small to large projects.
- Design, develop, maintain, test, and implement MES applications, integration components, and existing software code.
- Conduct application design reviews and participate in application programming and production implementation.
- Organize and manage individual projects or portions of larger projects, including work plans, task identification, and project team coordination.
- Oversee technical project management, production support efforts, budgets, completion dates, and issue reporting.
- Evaluate new software products and processes for supported functional areas.
- Provide team status reporting, participate in team meetings, and support team skill development.
- Participate in on-call duties, resolve production issues, and guide or train Help Desk staff on issue resolution.
Requirements
- 5 to 8+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology.
- At least 2 years serving as a lead developer.
- At least 3 years of development experience using Microsoft Visual Studio Suite.
- At least 3 years of programming experience in an object-oriented SOA environment.
- At least 3 years of experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and AJAX.
- At least 3 years of Microsoft SQL Server development and profiling tools experience.
- Experience designing graphical user interfaces and user interactions.
- Experience architecting solutions in a .NET SOA development environment and leading small to medium-sized projects.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software development life cycle practices, and all phases of systems development.
- Strong communication, consulting, troubleshooting, problem-solving, independent learning, and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of company operations and the business area being supported.
