Base Salary
$190k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and ship APIs and backend services for Mintlify’s editor, dashboard, and customer documentation sites.
- Improve content infrastructure for ingesting, validating, transforming, and publishing content from thousands of customer repositories.
- Build search, retrieval, and agent infrastructure for AI products.
- Improve caching, queues, databases, performance, reliability, and observability as the platform scales.
- Contribute to product direction and technical decisions across the stack.
- Collaborate with design and engineering, engage directly with customers, and take features from development through launch.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with systems design, API architecture, databases, and production systems.
- Strong product intuition and attention to the rationale behind technical decisions.
- Adaptability and willingness to work beyond backend engineering when needed to ship features.
- Ability to define solutions independently and thrive with a high degree of ownership.
- Willingness to speak directly with customers and use their insights to shape products.
