Responsibilities

  • Conduct vulnerability research and exploit development in iOS, macOS, XNU, and related security-critical software.
  • Create tools and infrastructure that scale security research efforts.
  • Develop methodologies for discovering high-impact security vulnerabilities.
  • Publish research results and engage the wider defensive security community.
  • Work with other security engineers to analyze and respond to vulnerabilities reported by external parties.
  • Use exploit development and research findings to provide actionable guidance for defenses and mitigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Five years of experience with reverse engineering.
  • Experience with vulnerability research and exploitation.
  • Experience with technical writing.
  • Preferred: a track record of excellent published security research.
  • Preferred: significant depth of understanding in one or more vulnerability-research security fields.
  • Preferred: excellent teamwork, organizational, and communication skills.

Benefits

  • Germany base pay is €128000–€131000 EUR per year, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
