Responsibilities

  • Integrate HID PACS components and report on end-to-end system performance, stability, reliability, and user experience.
  • Maintain and evolve a 24/7 systems and solutions lab, including test benches, equipment, samples, and shared environments.
  • Research, plan, design, and execute system-level test plans covering functional, performance, interoperability, stress, reliability, UX, and UAT requirements.
  • Perform manual and automated testing, develop automation tools, and create Hardware-in-the-Loop setups.
  • Collect and analyze baseline and test data, investigate customer issues, support defect triage, and produce clear stakeholder reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering, embedded QA, product management, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Improve test processes, support shift-left and test-driven development practices, and participate in Agile/SAFe planning and reporting.
  • Support PACS roadmap initiatives through hands-on lab, office, fieldwork, and occasional international travel activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, computer engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of software testing experience focused on UX/UAT validation.
  • Experience testing mobile applications integrated with physical products in real-world environments.
  • System-level testing experience across hardware, firmware, mobile applications, and cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, embedded development, programming, API testing, scripting, and test management tools.
  • Experience with application development environments, repositories, artifact management, defect tracking, analytics, visualization, and collaboration tools.
  • Experience with macOS, Android, iOS, Linux, SQL or Firebase, and wired and wireless protocols including BLE, NFC, UWB, TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT, OSDP, and RS-485.
  • Comfort working with physical hardware, wiring, configuration, troubleshooting, wiring diagrams, lab equipment, and embedded or automation hardware.
  • Strong English communication, analysis, documentation, reporting, collaboration, and technical specification interpretation skills.
  • ISTQB CTFL or equivalent UX/UAT certification is highly desirable.
  • SAFe for Teams, Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile certification and experience in Agile/SAFe delivery environments are highly desirable.
  • Experience with AI tools and agentic AI workflows such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, or Claude is required.
