Responsibilities
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to align delivery with business requirements and timelines.
- Prioritize and resolve client issues in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to critical feature designs.
- Identify and document technical debt and improvement areas.
- Maintain documentation for onboarding, knowledge transfer, and software development communication.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and develop solutions.
- Follow the Agile Scrum development process.
- Support the quality of the team’s deliverables and contribute to deployment and development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Proficiency in current Java editions and expertise with Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, microservices architecture, and design patterns.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Frontend experience with React.js or Angular is a strong plus.
- Experience with Node.js and PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Knowledge of security best practices for APIs and data privacy.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and commitment to driving Agile practices.
- Familiarity with configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, infrastructure as code, and deployment patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Proficiency in English.
